Technology Platform and Intellectual Property
The proprietary ALGAVIO ingredient will enable the production of unique drug formulations for the treatment of the top 3 global skin diseases – acne, psoriasis and eczema.
The ALGAVIO platform is protected with a provisional patent. It encompasses method of production, compositions-of-matter and methods of use.
By the first-year anniversary of the provisional patent application, the company plans to convert this to a Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) application and file a patent application as well in Taiwan with the additional data that will be generated in the coming year.
The company’s patent strategy will include additional patent filings from the continuous improvement of the ALGAVIO platform including new applications.
